You are Welcome Here - recordings
Many thanks to Timothy Allen, the composer of 'You are Welcome Here' for preparing all the materials for us. I hope that you enjoy teaching it to your singers and that they enjoy it as much as I have since first hearing it just before Christmas.
Here are recordings of all the different formats of the song - 3 parts, (with both male and female voices versions), SAB and TBB. All versions have the individual parts and the full mixes.
Tim has also kindly done 3 different versions of the accompaniment, with a full backing track, a straight piano part and a live piano part. In the festival we will be playing with an accompanist, so it is entirely up to you which you choose to use, if you need a backing track.
All the tracks are labelled, so that you should be able to navigate to which are the most suitable for you.
As I informed you in the letter - because of illness Tim has used computer generated singers for these recordings. They are a bit robotic, but will definitely be adequate for learning purposes.
You may circulate these recordings to your choir freely.
